Weekday Services

Thursday 10.15am Said Eucharist

Welcome

We are especially aware of the different needs for worship and our services reflect this. They range from a quiet meditative 8.00 am. Sunday Service, followed  at 9.30 am. by our Parish Eucharist which includes a parade service on the second Sunday of most months.  There is also a traditional evensong every Sunday.

We are the people of God developing and nurturing as Christian disciples, open to God and open to people.  We have a shared responsibility to use our gifts for the whole of church life, within our parish, within the locality and in the wider world.

IN OUR CHURCH WE:-

·   Grow warmer through fellowship

·   Grow deeper through understanding

·   Grow stronger through worship

·   Grow broader through serving

·   Grow larger through sharing the message.

Your typical questions answered

Baptisms:

St. Michael’s does not insist that you are a churchgoer in order to have your child baptised, although such a commitment would make sense within our church family.  Please do not hesitate to come forward and discuss this with the Clergy.

Weddings:

St. Michael’s provides a good setting for a wedding.  We will be happy to assist with your arrangements, choice of music etc. If you are getting married elsewhere, do not forget that you may need to have your Banns (notice of intent to marry) read in St. Michael’s.
